Wix + Printful in 2026: Now a Native Print On Demand Integration

Wix and Printful just got a lot tighter. In 2025, Wix launched a native print-on-demand experience powered by Printful — so you can now design, list, and sell custom merch directly from your Wix dashboard, with Printful printing and shipping every order automatically. If you already have a Wix site (or want an alternative to Shopify), here’s how it works in 2026 and how to set it up.

what changed: wix + printful is now native

The old way to connect the two was to install a Printful app and sync products across. That still works — but the big update is that Wix and Printful now offer a native integration built right into the Wix platform. You can design products in bulk, customize them with your own art and logos, and list them without leaving your Wix dashboard. Orders placed on your Wix store are sent to Printful automatically, printed on demand, and shipped to your customer under your brand — no inventory, no minimums, and you only pay when a sale is made.

how to set it up (existing wix users)

If you already have a Wix website, you can be selling print on demand in a few minutes:

  1. Register a free Printful account.
  2. From your Wix dashboard, add Printful — either through the native print-on-demand experience or the free Printful app in the Wix App Market — to connect your accounts.
  3. Use Printful’s mockup generator to add your designs to hundreds of products, then push them to your Wix store.
  4. Set your billing method and shipping rates so customers can check out.
  5. That’s it — any order on your Wix store is automatically sent to Printful, made to order, and shipped for you.

new to wix?

If you don’t have a site yet, you’ll build your Wix store first, then connect Printful. Wix is a beginner-friendly website builder and a reasonable alternative to Shopify — especially if you want a full content website (blog, pages) alongside your store rather than a store-first platform. Note that to actually sell, you’ll need a paid Wix plan that supports online payments; Wix’s plan pricing changes periodically, so check current rates on Wix before you commit.

what it costs

  • Printful: free to connect and list products — no subscription, no minimums. You pay Printful’s base price only when an order is placed, and keep the markup.
  • Wix: a paid plan is required to accept payments and run a store. Pricing varies by plan and changes over time, so confirm the current rate on Wix.

is wix + printful right for you?

It’s a strong fit if you already use Wix, or if you want one platform for both a content site and a merch store. If you’re starting from scratch purely to sell merch, it’s worth weighing against the alternatives: Shopify is the most established store platform, Etsy + Printful brings its own marketplace traffic, and if you’re choosing a print partner at all, see Printful vs Printify. Whichever you pick, the print-on-demand model underneath is the same — do the work once, sell with no inventory.
