Opening a second shop just to sell the same items and get more exposure is not OK and could be closed down. The other benefit of keeping one store is that it will benefit from more exposure if you have more listings in one place.

Requirements For Two Etsy Shops

• Firstly you need a new email that’s different from your first shop
• You must set a separate account up
• You can use the same financial information (Bank/Credit Card)
• Sell on Etsy App you can add both shops
• In each account profile you must place a sentence saying “My other shop is ____________.”
• Etsy requires that all your shops are mentioned in all your profiles.

How Do I Open a Second Etsy Shop?

Follow these easy steps below to open a second Etsy shop:

1. On Etsy.com, click You from your Etsy homepage or click your shop name from Shop Manager.
2. Click to Sign out.
3. Next click on the Sell on Etsy button.
4. Click Open your Etsy shop.
5. Enter an email address not associated with your other Etsy shop and click Continue.
6. If you’re creating a new account, enter your name and create a password. Click Register.
7. Click Open your Etsy shop again.
