I have been selling things online through eCommerce now for over 15 years so have picked up lots of experience along the way. Also a few years ago I started some new strategies in Print On Demand which have been very successful. This puts me in a great position to share my knowledge and experience with you.

Here you will find good quality and honest content such as reviews, hints/tips and how to guides. I only create content about products, services, tools and websites I have used and tested for myself.
My Story of Failure
I want to tell you about how I got started in print on demand and how my first attempt was a failure!
It was at the beginning of 2018, I had heard about drop shipping and wanted to get involved. So I started to research on YouTube, Google, Reddit and all the usual places.
However I was not really sold on the idea of selling low quality goods from china, with 20+ day shipping times. That’s when I stumbled upon a different type of drop shipping, PRINT ON DEMAND.
It had everything I was looking for:
- No need to hold stock
- Very low cost to set up
- Fast shipping 2-3 days
- Selling unique items
Everything was pushing me towards setting up a Shopify store, apparently it was the thing to do. However nobody told me how hard it would be to make sales.
So I went ahead and built a brand new Shopify store. I followed a Udemy course by Adam Reed called “Build a Shopify Print on Demand Business from Scratch”.
To be fair the course was really good and got my store built. It also introduced me to Printful and I got my first designs live.
After that, guess what happened? Nothing, absolutely nothing happened because I had no traffic. Even worse I didn’t know how to generate any traffic.
It was a failure, I tried ads,social media but I just couldn’t get any sales!
I was about to give up when I read a Reddit post from somebody who said they shut their shop and just sold on Etsy now.
So that’s what I did, shut shop after wasting hundreds of dollars. I realized I could list on existing marketplaces like Etsy and that the traffic was already there.
I set up Etsy using the same Printful integration I had used for Shopify and within weeks I was making sales. I quickly expanded to Merch By Amazon and Redbubble using the same designs to increase my sales.
Now I sell thousands of dollars worth of merchandise every month and I am continuing to grow it.
