Merch By Amazon Approval 2020

Merch By Amazon Approval

Want to know how to get Merch By Amazon Approval to sell in 2020? Then you have come to the right place. I am going to walk you through the process, to make sure you have the highest chance of being accepted. Before you can make money on Merch you have to apply for an account, so lets get started.

Selling designs on Amazon is a great way to start making passive income online, anyone can get started. All you need is a computer and a internet connection, its possible on mobile but much harder.

The way Merch By Amazon works is you upload a design you created, along with a description. Your design is then available to buy printed on merchandise like T-Shirts on the Amazon marketplace. If somebody buys your design you earn a royalty payment and Amazon take care of the rest.

So for every T-shirt you sold for a reasonable $19.99 your royalty would be $5.23. If you were selling just 3 per day that would be earning you $109.83 per week. Some sellers are making hundreds of T-Shirt sales per day $$$.

Before we get carried away with the earning potential, you first need to apply. See the steps below.

Merch By Amazon Application Process Guide

Time needed: 5 minutes

  1. Step 1: Request Invitation

Navigate to the Merch Home Page scroll to the bottom & click “Request Invitation”. If you don’t already have an Amazon account then you need to create one.

The first part of the application you are going to fill out 3 pages company profile, payment & banking, and tax information. Lets go through each step in detail.

  2. Step 2: Company Profile

Most people register with Merch as an individual under a personal name. Its very important to enter your REAL details here. Merch will check your details so fill out the form honestly.

Alternatively if you want to use a registered company that’s fine (like an LLC or LTD company). If you want tax advice then speak to an accountant in your own country. merch by amazon application

  3. Step 3: Payment & Banking

This part is fairly straight forward but you need a valid bank account in your name or business name in the country you reside in. You cannot use somebody else’s or you will be rejected.

  4. Step 4: Tax Information

For individuals in the US provide your Social Security Number as your Tax Identification Number (otherwise, use your EIN).

For individuals NOT in the US provide your own countries Tax Identification Number as found on your tax documents.

  5. Request Invitation Form

Industry Type:  If you used your personal name, select novelty t-shirt business. If you are registering as a business, I would recommend putting small business.

Organization Name: For most people this will just be your REAL personal name. However if you are using a registered business (LLC/S Corp/C Corp), then enter the name here.

Additional Information: This is your opportunity to make your case to the Merch team on why they should accept you. DO NOT LEAVE IT BLANK. You need to include anything that will make your application stand out, such as the following:

    – Have done any print on demand, fashion or clothing business before? If so provide details and links.
    – Do you own any trademarks? GREAT add it in this box.
    – Do you have licensed work? PERFECT add it to this box.
    – Are you a graphic designer, artist, art student etc this could help.

If you don’t have any existing T-shirt designs already on the web, then I suggest uploading some first. You are going to need designs anyway for Merch so best to practice elsewhere. Once you have 10 designs these can be used in this application and linked to.

Here are some easy to use platforms:
    Redbubble
    Teespring
    TeePublic
    Spreadshirt

Website: If you want to increase your chances of being accepted then I RECOMMEND YOU HAVE A WEBSITE/STORE.

  6. Step 5: Sign & Submit

Once you have completed all the steps above you can submit your application. Now you just have to wait! In years previous people have reported waiting months for a reply. However in recent months it looks like most people wait 1-2 weeks.
